Education for all! primary education of high quality for all children, and a fair start in life for the young child is the core of revolution in human development.On the other hand, the denial of access to quality education endangers the success and sustainability of efforts in all aspects of human development (social and economic).

Absence of primary education of an acceptable quality remains a serious problem in most parts of the developing world. In Ethiopia also, there exists more than 11051 primary schools* - the majority of which have no reading rooms or libraries. In addition to this, there is a widespread shortage appropriate books are found for sale on the market. The few books available are outdated and in poor condition. It is in response to this need that CODE-Ethiopia was established.
